About Me
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist based in the Chicago area with a deep commitment to thoughtful, respectful, and practical mental health care. I work with adults navigating stress, identity, relationships, and life transitions, bringing a steady, collaborative presence to the therapy room. My approach blends clinical expertise with genuine curiosity about each person’s story, helping people make sense of where they’ve been and move with intention toward where they want to go.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m actively involved in professional leadership and education, having served as President of the Illinois Psychological Association and contributing nationally to continuing education initiatives that promote ethical, inclusive practice. I believe good therapy is grounded in both skill and humanity, and I aim to create a space where people feel understood, respected, and supported in doing meaningful work.

Psychotherapy
My approach to therapy is grounded in psychodynamic thinking, with a focus on understanding how early experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns continue to shape present-day life. I pay close attention to the themes that emerge over time, the meanings beneath the surface, and the ways people relate to themselves and others in the room with me. At the same time, I’m practical and collaborative, helping clients connect insight to real change in their work, relationships, and daily lives. My goal is to offer a steady, respectful space where deeper understanding and forward movement can happen.

Career Insight
A meaningful part of my work focuses on helping people navigate career questions and broader phase-of-life transitions. Whether someone feels stuck, burned out, uncertain about their direction, or on the edge of a major decision, I help them sort through competing pressures, clarify what truly matters, and move forward with greater confidence and intention. My approach is data-driven, and combines practical problem-solving with deeper reflection, supporting people as they realign their work, identity, and values in ways that feel sustainable and authentic.

I offer both in-person and online sessions based on availability and clinical appropriateness.
